Description:
- Ability to serve food in a gracious and sanitary manner: to set up and maintain the orderly appearance of the dining room; and to assist in minor food preparation.
- Ability to serve food from a tray or card in a gracious manner. This includes the ability to announce menu selections.
- Ability to follow Residents’ Rights policies at all times. This includes the ability to maintain the confidentiality of resident care information.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.
- Previous experience in the Dietary Department of a Long Term Care Facility preferred.
- Ability to speak read and write English.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met
- Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
- Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
