Description
The Tykes and Tots Lead Teacher shall work cooperatively with staff in the implementation, supervision, evaluation, and participation of daily activities to provide an effective learning environment whereby the children are safe, engaged, and enjoying the classroom experience.
- The Tykes and Tots Lead Teacher is responsible for the health, safety, welfare, and personal growth of each child and be a role model of teaching excellence for other teaching staff
- Plan & implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities; including daily Social-Emotional, Literacy concepts; weekly STEAM, Global Learning activities as well as on-going Community Service experiences
- Ability to be Creative in teaching and lead out in Best Practices
- Know and comply with state licensing rules
- Assist with diapering, toilet training & restroom procedures
