RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Seattle, WA that is seeking a Software Dev Engineer II.
Summary:
In this role, you will build internal applications to improve developer productivity. The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing monitoring solutions
* Troubleshooting/debugging solutions
* Implementing the fix for internally developed code (Typescript, JAVA, React)
* Improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges
* Updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems
REQUIREMENTS:
* A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required
* Top required skill - Java
* Must be detail oriented
* Have superior verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure
Preferred coding skills:
* Typescript, React and Java
* Other desired technical skills include familiarity with AWS
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
