Key Responsibilities:
Develop 3D models and 2D drawings for refrigeration units, piping, and mechanical systems.
Translate project requirements into design plans in collaboration with engineers and architects.
Design support frames, control panels, and equipment layouts.
Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings per industry standards.
Revise drawings based on engineering feedback and field updates.
Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing to maintain accurate BOMs.
Support permitting packages with technical illustrations.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NEC, etc.).
Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD and mechanical drafting standards.
Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, and building system integration.
Ability to interpret architectural/mechanical plans and P&IDs.
Degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting Technology, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with Revit or BIM tools is a plus.
