KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Workday HCM, Time Tracking & Absence to join our Managed Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and lead execution of day-to-day activities for Workday managed services engagements across a variety of post-production clients; this includes enhancements, optimizations, break/fix support, release management, new feature deployments, process improvements, and strategic road mapping
  • Lead all managed services engagements acting as the point of contact for escalations and work prioritizations; work to ensure client satisfaction and timely delivery and collaborate with clients to strategize and drive goals forward post-production
  • Support Workday release management by assessing new features, conducting regression testing, and overseeing system update implementations; develop and maintain user documentation, job aids, and training materials to promote user adoption and ensure effective use of the Workday system
  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end business processes related to timekeeping, leave management, scheduling, and approvals, ensuring alignment with Workday capabilities and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver scalable, effective solutions; lead the analysis, design, configuration, and delivery of Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management solutions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent client-facing experience in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), with a focus on Time Tracking and Absence; experience must include supporting Workday clients within a managed services organization and/or participation in at least one end-to-end Workday Time Tracking and Absence implementation
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; Workday certifications in Core HCM, Time Tracking or Absence are required; please note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn't currently hold the aforementioned certification will be required to secure them within three months from the commencement of employment
  • Additional Workday certification/skills in at least one of the following is preferred: Payroll, Advanced Reporting, Security, Scheduling
  • Experience working with third-party time tracking systems, such as UKG (Kronos), ADP, or other external time and attendance platforms
  • Proven ability to collaborate with integration teams to support interfaces between Workday and payroll or external timekeeping systems
  • Strong knowledge of HR and payroll processes, including time tracking, leave and absence policies, approval workflows, and compliance requirements
