The Accountant position is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.
• Examine accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports
• assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.
• Report to the Accounting Manager the finances of the organization.
• Review records of accounts and input entries into proper accounts.
• Develop and implement proper keeping of financial records, making use of current
• technologies.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
• Two (2) years of accounting support experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred
• Works with other departments as needed.
• Researches and resolves any general ledger system issues together with IT personnel and others as required.
• Works with other departments as needed.
• Monitors and documents departmental policies and procedures to ensure 100% compliance.
