LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization to identify a payroll professional who can help for the next six months. You will be trained by the individual who is leaving the position and will be supported by the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of payroll processing experience and be comfortable with different software systems. This opportunity offers a hybrid working schedule so you will need to be close to their office in Kent, WA. The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records subject to federal contractor requirements and/or security clearance requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Processing bi-weekly payroll and payroll taxes for about two hundred employees
- Updating employee files and responding to any inquiries
- Preparing W-2 forms and assisting with benefit administration
- Reconciling payroll timecards and tax reports
- Posting payroll-related journal entries
- Additional tasks as needed
- At least three years of payroll processing experience
- Previous experience on different payroll systems is desired (ADP, UKG, Workday)
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work discretely with confidential information
- Able to function with extreme accuracy
- Temporary position for six months
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Hybrid schedule, office location in Kent, WA
