Sales Assistant
Leading Long Island Manage Service Provider is looking for a highly motivated, dynamic Sales Assistant to join our growing Company on Long Island. Attention to detail, strong verbal and handwritten skills required and a technical background is a plus.
Reporting into the VP of Sales , the Sales Assistant will manage an existing set of established small to mid-size clients and will be responsible for maintaining the short and long-term relationships with key contacts within each customer. The Sales Assistant will be trained on LincolnIT services and will need to work to maintain relationships and provide administrative support to the VP of Sales. The position does not require outside sales experience or new business development
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and is comfortable meeting and working with owners and employees of small to medium-sized businesses. This is a customer-facing position and the candidate must strong customer service skills. This includes daily follow-up, quoting, on-site visits, and working with the internal LincolnIT technical departments. Candidates will possess excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a sales team environment.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing existing clients and discovering new opportunities within those clients
- Conducting regular status and business review meetings for each client to understand short- and long-term business goals
- Creating, presenting, and implementing Quarterly Business reviews, Annual technology roadmaps, budgets, and reports
- Communicating potential risks related to cyber-security, network security and industry specific compliance
- Overseeing internal support and engineering resources to ensure successful delivery of services to clients
- Educating clients on current technology trends relevant to their specific industry
- Providing technical guidance, counsel, and direction for all individuals on team, as needed, to resolve technical issues
- Will interface with manufactures to help design and implement cost savings IT solutions for existing customers.
Job Requirements
- 2-4 Years using Microsoft Office
- Ability to build customer relationships
- Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider or IT Consulting environment is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Technology experience/exposure, or experience is a plus
- Dynamic executive-level relationship building
- Assertive work ethic, competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit
- High persistence and track-record of achieving goals
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in team pursuits
- Clear, controlled, and professional communication skills required
