What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transient Sales Manager position at LOTTE NEW YORK PALACE?
This position reports to the Director of Transient Sales and/or Assistant Director of Transient Sales
Concentrate efforts in selling all aspects of the Hotel with a focus on Corporate Sales, Consortia Accounts and Wholesale Accounts
Maintain good working relationship with travel buyers
Prepare proposals/contracts in a timely fashion
Conduct sales visits, site inspections and outside sales calls
Develop new markets and sources of business
Attend tradeshows/sales trips both locally and beyond
Participate in daily business review meeting and other hotel meetings as appropriate
Generate ideas for marketing of product such as packages and promotional offers
Take up special assignments as assigned
Maintain effective communication channel with Revenue Team, Reservations Manager and Reservations Team
Follow up with clients and coordinate with internal operation departments
Attend and contribute to sales meetings
Regular update on competitors and market intelligence
Regular update on Trade shows
Assimilate into The LOTTE New York Palace culture through understanding, supporting, and participating in and embracing all elements of our Mission, Vision, and Core Values
