Mallory Safety and Supply is currently looking for an Onsite Associate to join our growing team in Lenexa, Kansas!
Mallory is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented problem solver to join our growing team of Onsite Associates across the country. This is the chance to work directly with an exciting and emerging part of our business, where you will work closely with many parts of our business as well as some of our biggest customers. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting some of our major customers with their vendor managed inventory (VMI) and vending systems. We are looking for a hands-on, active team member who is passionate about meeting company and customer goals – we’ll give you the tools you need to be successful along the way!
In this role, you would be responsible for the managing of our system of vending machines, ordering and auditing inventory of safety supplies, and ensuring the success of day-to-day operations onsite for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a warehouse and/or inventory background who wants to hit the ground running towards the next step in their career!
As an Onsite Associate, here’s what a typical day might look like:
- Issuing PPE through a virtual storeroom
- Restocking and auditing of vending machines
- Maintaining appropriate stock and reorder points
- Interacting with internal and external customers in a polite, respectful manner
- Maintaining inventory accuracy by following process development and quality standards
- Walking and/or standing for the duration of your shift
- Continuous lifting, lowering and carrying boxes and product
Desired Qualifications for the Onsite Associate at Mallory:
- Previous warehouse, merchandising, and/or inventory experience preferred
- Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills and a proven record of effectively dealing with the public
- Ability to read and write in English
- Basic Math skills
- Strong technology skills including knowledge of iPads and Microsoft Office Suite
- Creative problem-solving skills
