Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our leadership development program. This role is designed for individuals pursuing licensure as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and offers hands-on experience in all aspects of facility operations. The AIT will work closely with the LNHA and department heads to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to lead a skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured training program covering all departments: nursing, finance, HR, admissions, dietary, maintenance, and compliance
- Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks under the supervision of the LNHA
- Learn regulatory requirements and best practices for long-term care management
- Support quality improvement initiatives and resident satisfaction efforts
- Attend leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning
- Complete required documentation and progress reports for licensure
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- Enrollment in or completion of a state-approved AIT program
- Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Passion for serving seniors and working in long-term care
- Ability to work full-time and commit to the duration of the training program
