What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drug Screen Collector position at Meridian HealthCare?
Meridian HealthCare is looking to hire a full-time Drug Screen Collector to work in our outpatient treatment program at our Youngstown offices. The primary hours for this position are 5:30 am - 1 pm as a full-time screener with a potential modified schedule for part-time. Are you passionate about providing excellent patient care? WORK SCHEDULE FOR A DRUG SCREENER
We currently have day turn hours available, working on a Saturday rotation, with an occasional evening shift.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DRUG SCREENER
- Monitors and collects urine specimens for drug testing.
- Collects specimens of hair and saliva for drug collection and processing.
- Performs Breath Alcohol Testing
- Enters patient information and data into computer.
- Maintains records and logs of all specimen tests obtained and processed.
- Orders supplies, maintains inventories and stocks of lab prep area.
- Maintains a clean work environment.
- Assists the Medical Department as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR DRUG SCREENER
- High School Diploma/GED
- Computer skills required
- Knowledge of Chemical Dependency preferred
