PRIMARY PURPOSE:
As a Barber, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to exceed guest expectations
- Follow all departmental and policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation policies and all other duties as assigned
- Provide services including but not limited to straight razor shaves, haircuts and beard trims with the ability to produce both a creative and technically accurate visual presentation per treatment and department protocols
- Maintain a working knowledge of all products and be informed of the latest trends and techniques
- Promote and sell service treatments, enhancements, upgrades, and retail products
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED:
- Master Barber License issued from the State of Nevada
- One (1) year of guest service experience
- Two (2) years of barber experience
- Experience in retail
- Experience in a similar luxury spa or salon setting
