Description

• Lead cross-functional engineering projects including product development, customization, and continuous improvement efforts
• Translate customer and market requirements into actionable technical specifications
• Collaborate closely with operations teams to implement process improvements and support lean manufacturing initiatives
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering strong technical and project management capabilities
• Partner with executive leadership and commercial teams to support product roadmap planning and execution
• Ensure all products meet applicable certifications, regulations, and industry standards
• Oversee product testing, certification processes, and patent filings as applicable
• Develop and manage the engineering budget, aligning technical resources with strategic priorities

Profile

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams in a manufacturing or product development environment
• Strong project management skills and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
• Experience collaborating with operations and manufacturing teams to support product launch and design-for-manufacturability (DFM)
• Proven ability to build and develop high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Effective communicator who can bridge technical and business perspectives

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Master's preferred)
• 6 years of progressive engineering leadership experience, ideally including Director-level roles
• Background in engineered products, construction materials, industrial equipment, or related sectors preferred
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks applicable to manufactured products

Job Offer

• Base salary $170,000 - $200,000 Depending on Experience
• 15% annual bonus target
• Annual profit-sharing cash bonus
