Milton Hershey School is one of the world's best private schools where students from disadvantaged backgrounds receive a career-focused education, housing, meals and more all costs covered thanks to Milton and Catherine Hershey's generosity in 1909. We are hiring married couples to become houseparents guiding and nurturing approximately 8-12 students providing a consistent family-like structure.
Houseparents provide transportation, administer medication, budget, report and handle various responsibilities when living on campus with their assigned group of students. When initially hired they cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home.

Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free weapon-free campus no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Limitations on pets only fish and one dog of approved breeds permitted
- Valid U.S. driver's license ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary : $43,825 - $165,000
