About the Role
MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative and operational support to senior executives at the U.S. Department of Energy. This role supports front office operations, manages calendars and travel, prepares correspondence and presentations, and ensures smooth coordination across DOE-ID leadership teams.
Location: U.S. Department of Energy, Idaho Falls, ID
Essential Functions
Executive Support & Scheduling
- Manage executive calendars and prioritize scheduling needs
- Coordinate meetings, logistics, and preparation of materials
- Arrange domestic travel and prepare itineraries in accordance with federal travel regulations
Communication & Document Preparation
- Draft, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, and briefing materials
- Prepare meeting agendas, talking points, and executive-level documents
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
Office Operations & Coordination
- Support front office operations and workflow management
- Serve as backup for the front office or correspondence control center
- Maintain files, records, and documentation in accordance with DOE procedures
Administrative Support
- Track deadlines, reminders, and routine administrative tasks
- Assist with general office coordination to ensure smooth daily operations
- Provide responsive, high-quality administrative support to DOE-ID leadership
- High School Diploma and 3 years of administrative support experience
- Must include at least 1 year supporting an executive OR Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with calendar and travel management
