Description
Summary:
A Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping equipment and facilities in good repair by providing day-to-day maintenance at Brian Head Resort, Brian Head Lodge, and Mountain View Lodge. They complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following standard operating procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond and attend to guest/employee repair requests
- Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, and boiler systems
- Interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units
- Perform maintenance activities like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, and repairing all types of hardware, and electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC, and AC ducts
- Maintain maintenance inventory, the confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
- Maintains Resort and Hotel Facilities and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must have basic knowledge or experience in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, boiler systems, and HVAC/AC
- Ability to work under pressure situations and exercise good judgment
- Ability to focus attention on details, speed, and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, sit, squat, and kneel for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor conditions for long periods of time
