This is a Windows Systems Admin Position. (Not Service Desk or Desktop Support). Experience in medium\large companies with SCCM (Support Level 2 and 3) as well as experience working on medium\large datacenters: 200 Servers.
- Develop and maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of Wintel environments and duties performed by system administrators
- Work with the Engineering and Operations teams on the development of patches that will be applied to the Production system
- Assist in developing, maintaining and reviewing complete system documentation
- Assists in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning on assigned systems
- Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies
- Oversees network/computer resources and installation of new equipment
- Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and trends, as well as new developments for the technologies deployed/supported Interacting with client management to answer questions, problems and requests regarding complex system issues
- Assist with team member training and continually look for areas of improvement while providing a high level of service delivery and systems administration
- ITIL guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Monitoring and tuning appropriate systems to ensure optimum level of performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
- Experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions with fundamental knowledge in networking principles
- Experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures
- Experience creating and maintaining Microsoft Group Policy implementations
- Experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player
- Must have strong experience with JIRA
- Must have some experience with SCCM
- Experience working in a medium to large data center (i.e. 200 servers)
