Description
The Developmental Services Division at Northwestern Counseling & Support Services is looking for a dynamic, compassionate, and organized leader to support the day to day operations in three residential homes located within Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. The right person understands and promotes a person-centered approach for the individuals we serve and the services that we provide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing on site and remote support to teams across residential homes,
- Assisting with onboarding and training new residential staff,
- Coaching and mentoring Residential Behavior Interventionists, Assistant House Managers, and Residential Service Coordinators,
- Monitoring and supporting the implementation of person-centered supports,
- Ensuring compliance with program, agency, and state policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintaining the fiscal integrity of the program.
- Identifying and addressing staff needs and challenges.
- Occasionally providing direct care coverage when needed
- Some after-hours support is required
Successful candidate will have effective communication and leadership skills, strong supervision skills, demonstrate critical thinking abilities, have good attention to detail, the ability to foresee future needs/build new programs, and the ability to build cohesive teams and bring a positive attitude to the workplace. Knowledge of the Developmental Services System of Care is a plus.
A Master’s degree is preferred in human services or relevant field, residential experience a plus. We will consider the right applicant with a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Hiring rate is based on experience, education, and internal equity. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with NCSS policy and applicable laws.
