Junior Programmer

Job Summary:

Provides programming support to fulfill code enhancements and support the internal systems infrastructure by performing the following duties.

• Must be able to work W2!
• Must be open to working Hybrid situationally in Oaks, PA

Essential Functions:

1. Refine customer data and format final product using our document creation software (PrintSoft – PreS IDE, Objectif Lune – PreS IDE).
2. Code, test and troubleshoot programs utilizing the appropriate hardware and programming technology.
3. Maintain and modify programs; make approved changes, develop detailed programming logic, and coding changes.
4. Write new program code using prescribed specifications.
5. Analyze existing PReS applications/configurations and recommend enhancements to integrate with new products and advanced technology.
6. Evaluate simple interrelationships between programs such as whether a contemplated change in one part of a program would cause unwanted results in a related part.
7. Analyze performance of programs and act to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
8. Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements and inclusion of internal checks and controls
9. Write and maintain programming documentation, document programming problems and resolutions for future reference. Performs these documentation and administrative duties in a timely manner.
10. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested.
11. Assist personnel of other departments as an Information Technology resource.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Education: Four (4) year degree in Information Systems
2. Experience: 2 years of programming experience, PReS IDE, version 6 or higher.
