Network Engineer II (Extreme Networks | 6 month contract-to-hire | Hybrid in Greenville, SC)
Optomi, in partnership with a premier client in the healthcare space, is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join their Greenville team. This is an intermediate-level role focused on designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise networks that support critical patient care systems including Electronic Health Records (EHR), medical imaging, telehealth, and other mission-critical applications. Prior healthcare industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities of the right candidate
- Support and maintain Layer 2 and 3 network functionality.
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Extreme Networks equipment.
- Manage network requests, troubleshoot network issues, and participate in project work including upgrades and installations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for your region.
Experience of the right candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 2 years of experience OR 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Experience in enterprise or healthcare environments.
- Experience with Extreme Networks wired and wireless equipment.
- Relevant industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network , or equivalent Extreme certifications)
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
