What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metrology Technician position at Pharmaceutical Company?
We are seeking a Metrology Resource to support a critical 4-month project at our GTIC facility in Philadelphia. This onsite role will focus on instrument calibration, documentation, and compliance across utilities, building systems, and process equipment in a cGMP-regulated environment.
The ideal candidate has hands-on calibration experience, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with SAP or calibration management systems, ensuring all instruments are audit-ready and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Master Instrument List for utilities and building systems.
- Execute, schedule, and document instrument calibration activities.
- Review calibration certificates and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Enter and manage calibration data in SAP or CMMS.
- Coordinate with Facilities, Engineering, EHS, vendors, and project teams.
- Support metrology lab organization and calibration inventory.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, and FDA regulations.
