Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Procurement Specialist for our client, a major utility leader serving over 7 million electricity and natural gas customers across several states. This role supports senior procurement professionals and gives you the chance to gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, and procurement analytics.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and execution of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to inform strategic decisions.
- Support contract lifecycle activities including drafting, reviewing, and coordinating documentation.
- Perform a variety of operational procurement and strategic sourcing tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient procurement workflows.
- Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance procurement operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain support.
- Familiarity with RFP processes, contract administration, and procurement tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage changing priorities independently.
