Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Specialist to support our HR operations. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about employee relations, compliance, and building strong internal culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment processes: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Onboard new hires, ensuring documentation and compliance with internal policies
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Support performance review cycles and employee engagement initiatives
- Respond to general HR inquiries from staff and provide policy guidance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration support, as needed
- Contribute to the development and enforcement of HR procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the IT or staffing industry
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and labor legislation
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity and discretion
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-Time: 15–25 hours per week
