The Senior HR Generalist will manage all HR functions at the manufacturing site, supporting approximately 250 employees. The role will focus on employee relations, investigations, compliance, performance management, recruitment, training, and fostering a culture of inclusiveness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Lead and manage employee relations matters and internal investigations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support performance management processes and coach supervisors/managers.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to fill open positions.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a talent pipeline and training programs.
- Support the implementation of assessments (e.g., PI Assessments) and onboarding processes.
- Educate employees on benefit programs and assist with processing benefit claims.
- Support compensation structure development and manage related processes.
- Provide general support on 401(k) administration.
- Provide HR support across multiple warehouse facilities.
- Contribute to building a culture of inclusiveness and engagement.
- Perform other HR-related duties and special projects as needed.
Required
- 5 years of HR experience with a focus on investigations and employee relations.
- Proficient in HR policies, practices, and internal investigation procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience working in corporate HR environments, preferably within manufacturing or distribution.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willing and able to support a highly operational environment with extensive walking across facilities.
- Commitment to an engaged, flexible work approach (not a 9-to-5 mindset).
- HR Certifications (PHR, SHRM-SCP).
- Background in manufacturing, heavy equipment, industrial, or distribution industries.
- Familiarity with assessment tools such as PI.
- 100% onsite.
