We are seeking a bright and driven individual to join a dynamic IT Procurement team as a Procurement Business Analyst / Junior Data Analyst. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity ideal for a recent graduate or someone with 1–3 years of experience who’s hungry to grow and eager to climb the corporate ladder. The role is data-heavy and analytically focused, providing exposure to reporting, strategy, and senior leadership interactions.
What You’ll Do
- Build cost models (1-, 3-, 5-, 7-year outlooks) and perform resource analysis
- Create and maintain Excel dashboards and data sets
- Analyze budgets vs. actuals and present findings to stakeholders
- Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations to leadership
- Manage and version control procurement documentation and contract files
- Support supplier negotiations and track procurement KPIs
- Assist with RFP/RFI processes and vendor evaluations
- Stay informed on industry trends to inform sourcing strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support ongoing sourcing projects
- Participate in project management, reporting, and communications with business units
- Analytically inclined with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards, version control, and macros preferred)
- Confident communicator with experience presenting or creating professional decks in PowerPoint
- Eager to grow and learn from experienced sourcing and procurement professionals
- Organized and disciplined, able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented and collaborative with a professional and coachable attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, operations, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in analytics, procurement, or business operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable with data interpretation, cost modeling, and vendor collaboration
- Background in sourcing or procurement
- Familiarity with contract negotiation or supplier management
- Exposure to fast-paced, corporate environments
- Experience with reporting tools or basic SQL/Access skills
