Location: South Portland, ME (on-site only)
Hours: 35 - 40 hours/week
Employment Type: Temporary (3–6 months) with potential to become permanent
Compensation: $28-38/hour, Depending on Experience
Position Summary
We’re seeking a creative, results-driven marketing professional to lead email marketing and outbound campaigns. This is a full-time, on-site contract position based in South Portland, ME. The role is initially temporary (3–6 months), with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and manage email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact
- Write compelling content for emails, newsletters, and outreach materials
- Maintain and segment subscriber lists for targeted outreach
- Implement automation workflows to optimize campaign performance
- Monitor analytics, report key metrics, and recommend improvements
- Manage company presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube
- Collaborate on social and print marketing strategies for training programs
- Assist in editing digital and print collateral using Adobe InDesign
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure message alignment
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in email marketing using Constant Contact
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
- Experience using Jetpack
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in content creation, email automation, and performance analysis
- Familiarity with social media marketing across major platforms
- Strong writing, communication, and project management skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Understanding of audience segmentation and customer journey mapping
