Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patients' needs and create individualized treatment plans to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
- Develop treatment plans to improve patient's motor skills and coordination
- Help patients learn or re-learn everyday tasks such as dressing, cooking, and writing
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve function
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of current best practices in Occupational Therapy
