Job title: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The CRT will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients with breathing disorders. This includes assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and administering respiratory therapies to improve lung function and overall respiratory health.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform assessments to determine patients’ respiratory care needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Administer medications and treatments to patients, such as inhalers or oxygen therapy
- Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients on life support
- Educate patients and their families on proper respiratory care techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Document all patient interactions and treatments in medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills
