Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing industry-standard software to produce high-quality construction documents and collaborate closely with the Director of Design and Project Manager to ensure smooth project execution.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed designs and specifications for construction projects.
- Utilize SketchUp and AutoCAD to translate creative concepts into construction-ready documents.
- Produce accurate construction documents using AutoCAD and .
- Review and verify technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality of measurements
- Prepare scale drawings in accordance with project specifications.
- Interface regularly with the Director of Design and Project Manager to ensure adherence to project timelines and processes.
- Ensure the final output meets project goals, quality standards, and expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to address design and construction challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Revit is preferred, but not required.
