We have a current opening for a Staff Accountant for a specialized company in need of temporary coverage.The right Staff Accountant will be over:Assist with the period-end close process by reviewing and completing assigned period-end functions while also performing reconciliations and maintaining documentation related to balance sheet accounts.Perform period over period and year over year variance analysis for expense accounts.Reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a periodic/quarterly basis.Prepare period end journal entries.Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.Prepare reports for external departmentsPerform other work-related job duties as required
