What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Greeter (Mi Casa) position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts?
Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests according to server rotation and guest preference.
- Accept and enter restaurant reservations into the system according to house procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and excellent condition of menus, equipment, and work area.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements, special requests, directions, and hotel's general information.
- Answer phones in a polite and professional manner and direct phone calls accordingly.
- Monitor the floor and interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction and an enjoyable dining experience.
- Responsible for performing opening and closing duties to ensure proper restaurant setting.
- Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. infrequently.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Be able to work short distances, numerous times during a shift.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
