Assistant Controller - Royal Health Group

Royal Health Group is looking for a motivated, passionate Assistant Controller to join their team!

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and enter journal entries to general ledger per monthly close schedule
• Analyze revenue, expense and financial commitments and obligations to ensure they are recorded properly on a monthly basis.
• Assist with the review of f/s and preparation of management discussion and analysis on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and audit schedules
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Assist with the implementation of consistent business practices to assure accounting data integrity
• Assist with fixed asset processing and reporting 
• Assist with financial and other audits
• Assist with preparing information for tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• Assist with preparing information required regulatory reporting (cost reports, etc.)
• Perform a variety of other complicated tasks or projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in accounting
• 4-6 years accounting in the health care industry preferred
• Experience with Great Plains and Point Click Care software preferred and proficient in excel
