SmartTalent Lynnwood is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with shipping procedures, packaging, and warehouse operations. This role is essential to ensuring our products are shipped accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards
LOCATION: Everett, WA
Pay: $22 - $23
SCHEDULE:
Monday – Friday 6am – 230pm

Key Responsibilities:
·Follows method of shipment via specified guidelines
·Creates pack slips, examines and coordinates with appropriate groups if pack slip has mistakes.
·Attends Dangerous Goods training and maintains active certificate. Follow DG guidelines to properly and legally ship DG items.
·Coordinates daily scheduling of shipment pickups.
·Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications and determines correct packaging and filler to safely transport items.
·Orders wooden crates as needed.
·Coordinates with QC for appropriate certificates and stamps needed on paperwork
·Assemble wooden or cardboard containers or select preassembled containers.
·Inserts items into containers.
·Affixes shipping labels on packed containers, adds appropriate stickers and identifying shipping information to containers.
·Nails down covers on wooden crates, bands cardboard crates as needed.
·Operates forklift, pallet jack or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments to and from shipping area
·Closes shipped pack slips by end of shift.
·Distributes shipment tracking information to appropriate groups and people by end of shift.
Qualifications & Requirements:
·Position requires the equivalent of high school diploma.
·This position requires 1-2 years of shipping experience.
·Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
·Forklift training is preferred.
