About the Role
SmartTalent is looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team in Fife! This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building long-lasting relationships, enjoys fast-paced collaboration, and knows how to drive revenue with a creative sales approach.
You’ll represent SmartTalent in the community, consult with businesses on their staffing needs, and deliver custom solutions across a variety of industries—including administrative, customer service, production, skilled labor, and more. We have won GOLD in Staffing for Seattle Times and Pierce County and want someone who is inspired by that and can continue to live up to those standards
Key Responsibilities
· Identify, develop, and grow new business opportunities
· Build and maintain strong client relationships
· Create and present proposals, contracts, and service evaluations
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
· Represent SmartTalent at networking and business events
· Promote top candidates to existing and prospective clients
· Track and report on sales activity using CRM tools
· Assist with recruiting and placement as needed (occasional evenings/weekends)
What We’re Looking For
· 1 year of successful B2B sales experience (staffing or service industry)
· Strong communication, persuasion, and relationship-building skills
· Self-starter with the ability to manage time and territory effectively
· Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
· Passionate about delivering outstanding client and candidate experiences
· Reliable, professional, and adaptable in today’s evolving workplace
