Sonographer

SNI Companies is looking for experienced Ultrasonographers to join one of the largest healthcare organizations in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have prior OB/GYN experience and possess an active ARDMS.

Pay Rate: $26.00 to $40.00 an hour, depending on experience/education

90-day contract-to-hire position

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Eligible for pay increase after 90 days of employment

Responsibilities:

• Operates the ultrasound unit.
• Assists with invasive procedures using ultrasound guidance.
• Communicates with the multidisciplinary clinical team on technical aspects of patient care.
• Participates as an active care team member in the coordination of patient care.
• Provides excellent customer service for patients/families/representatives and other members of the treatment team.
• Performs ultrasound evaluations in accordance with AIUM protocols and departmental standards.
• Evaluates images/findings to rule out abnormalities and communicate findings according to departmental standards.
• Produces clinical reports based on data resulting from diagnostic ultrasound exams.

Requirements:

• ARDMS required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in related field preferred
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test
• 1 years of Sonography experience required
• Prior OB/GYN experience preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times
