What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student - Fitness Center Attendant position at Southern New Hampshire University?
Southern New Hampshire University is currently seeking a Student Worker as a Fitness Center Attendant for the Summer to oversee the main campus Fitness Center and its programs. This position will be responsible for interacting with the SNHU Community and provide a great experience for fitness enthusiasts and new comers. Position Overview: Fitness Center Attendants are responsible for the overall safety of the patrons as well as maintaining of fitness equipment. Attendants are responsible for the daily operations of the Fitness Center including but not limited to: customer service, tracking patron usage, risk management, fitness orientations, and facility cleanliness. Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in a degree program at SNHU Work-Study as part of the financial aid offer Preferred Qualifications (not required): CPR/AED certification (will be provided if not current) Hours: Fitness Center Attendants can expect to work 10-15 hours per week (depending on availability). Shifts are given in 3 hour increments, with back-to-back shifts being an option. Fitness Center hours of operation for the Fall will be: Monday-Thursday 7am-10pm, Friday 7am-9pm.
