Our client is a geotechnical engineering firm that has done business in the Raleigh area for over 40 years. They are looking for a CMT Special Inspector to join their experienced team. The ideal candidate for this role is familiar with structural CMT testing, and is comfortable working in the field.

- Travel to construction jobsites and conduct thorough testing of site foundations, soils, and other materials including, but not limited to, spray fireproofing, concrete, and masonry.
- Read and interpret design drawings and construction specifications.
- Observe work procedures and verify compliance with job specifications.
- Communicate and coordinate activities with on-site staff.
- Drive company vehicle to and from job sites.
- 2-5 years of experience working in a field CMT and Special inspections testing environment
- Clean driving record and ability to work outside in a construction site environment for 8-10 hours per day
- ICC, NICET, and ACI certifications are preferred, but not required
