An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Preferred Experience: Minimum one year of laboratory experience. Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment. - Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position. - Ability to multi task and work cooperatively with an international team of researchers. **GRANT FUNDED POSITION** Job Responsibilities 30% -Assists in the design, planning, and coordinating of experiments in support of various research projects related to membrane tracking in C. elegans. 10% -Selects and applies standard techniques of routine research and keeps detailed records of data. 10% -Uses computers and laboratory or technical equipment to perform data analysis, statistical analysis, and technical evaluation of research experiments and results. 10% -Evaluates and summarizes results. 5% -Order consumables and equipment, maintain nancial accounts related to research projects 20% -Assists undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory or technical sta involved in research. 5% -Installs, operates, maintains, and/or repairs research equipment. 5% -Assists with reports, invoices, and cataloging records. 5% -Performs other related duties as assigned.
