Job Overview

Superior Plumbing Services Inc is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to support our dynamic office team. In this role, you'll manage day-to-day administrative functions, maintain customer and project records, assist with materials and pricing coordination, and serve as a key point of contact between our field crews, suppliers, and clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and manage general office communications
  • Maintain and update customer records and project documentation
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment records accurately
  • Assist with ordering and tracking plumbing materials
  • Support project pricing and estimate preparation
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Provide general administrative support to the Office Manager and management team
  • Help maintain an organized and efficient office environment

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an administrative or office support role (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and QuickBooks
  • Clear, professional, and friendly communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • High school diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with plumbing materials or the construction industry
  • Experience organizing and tracking project details or job schedules
  • Basic knowledge of accounting, invoicing, or bookkeeping practices

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Standard daytime office hours

Work Location

  • On-site at Wayland, MI 49348
  • Must be able to reliably commute to the office location
