Salary: $48,000 to $58,000 Bonus

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage and oversee our company’s expense-related processes. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate vendor records.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proven experience in accounts payable. Success in this position requires accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to improving expense control procedures.

Detail-Oriented Analytical Diligent

Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling both manufacturing and overhead invoices.
- Recording payments to vendors and resolving any payment discrepancies.
- Collaborating with the project management team on invoices, purchase orders, or sales tax discrepancies.
- Communicate in a timely and professional manner to maintain valuable vendor relationships.
- Collecting, reviewing, and processing year-end 1099 forms for vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations and timely submission to both recipients and the IRS.
- Reviewing and processing vendor credit applications as needed.
- Maintain vendor records, including verifying new vendor Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) information.
- Code and reconcile corporate credit card expenses.
- Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting.

Qualifications & Skills:
- A bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience as an accounts payable specialist, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as NetSuite.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
