Bachelor’s degree in relevant area and three (3) years of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.

The department is especially interested in candidates with higher education experience, excellent communication. and organization skills.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Extended hours may be required for Crews Center for Entrepreneurship programs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear.   • Ability to keep current on university policies and technology implementation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of budgets and demonstration of strong financial post award management for grants and contracts at University of Memphis or higher education
  • Knowledge of Banner system, Tigerbuy, WorkforUM, ARGOS, OIR Database, Cayuse, and eContracts.
  • Ability to correspond (verbally and in writing) and interact with the Dean’s Office, Central Administrative Offices, and with external constituents to provide information and/or resolve concerns.
  • Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Orders and manages office supplies and fulfills supply requests for faculty. Manages purchase card reconciliation.

Coordinates and manages logistical arrangements for Crews Center for Entrepreneurship team and student ambassadors, Crews Center for Entrepreneurship programs and events, including RSO and campus meetings, retreats, and workshops on campus and off campus. Coordinates pre- and post-event activities, including venue setup, catering, material preparation, and ensuring proper audio-visual functionality.
