What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cloud Services Intern position at Tom McLeod Software Corporation?
The Cloud Services Intern works directly with customers who have chosen McLeod Software to manage their McLeod Applications within the McLeod Software Cloud Services infrastructure. They will be assisting new and existing customers with the management of all their Cloud Services user account needs, in addition to shadowing and learning more about a Private Cloud environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Communicate with customers to complete all tasks that are involved with creating, disabling, or updating Cloud Services user accounts
- Monitor internal Work Order queues for appropriate items
- Escalate to internal team members if a customer encounters issues outside of defined responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining documentation around departmental processes
- Assist with projects as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Candidates with prior experience in a customer facing roll is preferred
- Students pursuing degrees in IT/IS, Technology, or Supply Chain related degrees preferred
Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for external and internal customers
- Familiarity with following technologies
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks in allotted time
- Ability to use judgement on when to escalate issues to other team members/management
