Senior Staff Accountant

Privately held Charlotte corporate office is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their accounting and finance team. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive company with advancement opportunities. Salary of up to $95k and excellent benefits!

Responsibilities:

• Process incoming payments by scanning checks and uploading electronic payments.
• Accurately allocate payments to the appropriate general ledger codes.
• Track and manage vendor invoices using an online accounts payable platform.
• Initiate wire transfers and ACH payments in accordance with internal controls.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by preparing and posting journal entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Track and report on capital expenditures and operating expenses
• Provide financial support and analysis to managers and the finance team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to assist others.
