The Senior Tax Analyst reports to the VP of Tax and Treasury and supports all aspects of the company’s tax strategy across partnerships, REITs, and international structures. This role ensures tax compliance aligns with operational goals and supports growth initiatives. Ideal candidates are technically strong, proactive, and able to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing federal, state, local, and international tax matters, with emphasis on flow-through taxation (1065s, K-1s, REITs).
• Oversee tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors on filings and schedules.
• Manage quarterly estimated taxes and support REIT compliance and testing.
• Monitor sales/use tax and VAT obligations; support audits and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Analyze tax impacts of real estate transactions, joint ventures, and restructurings.
• Identify and support implementation of tax incentives (e.g., abatements, grants).
• Develop tax models for forecasting, planning, and investor impact analysis.
• Contribute to treasury initiatives (e.g., repatriation planning, intercompany funding).
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate tax into contracts, capital projects, and strategy.
• Manage relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities.
• Improve tax processes, controls, and documentation as the company scales.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s in Tax preferred).
• CPA or active progress toward licensure required.
• 3–5 years of progressive tax experience; public accounting background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of partnership and REIT taxation; indirect tax experience a plus.
• Skilled in Excel; ERP experience (NetSuite, Oracle) preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Self-starter with strong judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Team-oriented and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
