RHEUMATOLOGISTÂ
The division of rheumatology at UConn health is recruiting a clinical rheumatologist with the predominant focus being patient care. Given that there is a robust fellowship program the candidate/recruit will have ample opportunity to teach fellows, residents and medical students. The job will be geared towards delivering excellent patient care as merits a tertiary referral center.  Over time the faculty member will be encouraged to get more involved with the fellowship.  Should they be so inclined they will also have the opportunity to get involved in the medical student curriculum as time goes on.  The appointment will come with the rank of Assistant Professor of medicine. They will report to the division chief. They will have access to independent office space in the administrative services building and administrative help there as well.  They will have adequate medical assistant support in the clinic and will share in the call schedule equitably.

They will require to be board-certified in rheumatology and have an active license to practice medicine in Connecticut.Â
