The School of Engineering and College of Arts & Sciences is seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator for the Graduate multi-disciplinary programs of NanoScience and MicroSystems Engineering (NSME) and Biomedical Engineering (BME). You will report to the director of each program.
We are seeking someone with experience in graduate student advisement or student recruiting/admissions, who will also handle graduate fellowships, accreditation review, course planning/schedule/catalogue, and day-to-day operations. Other responsibilities will include managing the operational planning of the program with the oversight of the program Directors to include (but not limited to) budget submission, budget review, budget forecast, expense management, grant management, contracts, reimbursements and purchasing, advisory board relations, and public relations (including advertisement and outreach).
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential matters professionally. There are no additional staff working in this program, so it’s imperative you are a self-starter and internally motivated to get things done.
