As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in nurturing relationships with key accounts and driving engagement from independent franchisees under our corporate brand.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly meetings and provide daily updates to the designated Client Support team members.
- Participate in regular calls with primary client stakeholders alongside Lead Account Managers.
- Attend in-person training sessions and business reviews with clients, offering support as needed.
- Offer strategic recommendations for offers and products to enhance campaigns under the guidance of Lead Account Managers.
- Assist in the effective management of dedicated Support Team members throughout monthly campaigns, utilizing our proprietary O/E system (MyUpSwell, "MyUS").
- Coordinate the completion of custom campaign analysis, either directly or in collaboration with the Analytics Team, to support Lead Account Managers.
- Schedule calls to review analysis results and provide insights on performance and areas for improvement.
- Manage additional or supplemental requests from customers based on clients' needs.
- Identify opportunities for additional growth and compensation by maintaining annual corporate spend, increasing franchisee funded participation, and introducing additional tactics to the approved marketing mix, in collaboration with Lead Account Managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client support, client-facing, or account management role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous account management experience.
- Prior print or direct mail experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently manage internal resources, such as support, creative, and technology teams, to complete competitive and/or trends analysis in the client's industry.
- Demonstrated ability to own relationships with complex accounts.
- Leadership skills to support Lead Account Managers and manage the activities of dedicated Client Services team member(s).
- Enjoyment in engaging with customers on a regular basis.
Desired Qualifications:
- Candidates with a proven track record of engaging both small business owners/franchisees and their corporate stakeholders.
- Preference for candidates with agency experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of agency dynamics and client interactions.
- Candidates with experience in direct response marketing will be given special consideration.
- Candidates with a proven ability to interact with C-suite executives will be highly regarded.
