What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Resolution Specialist position at Vaco by Highspring?

Vaco is partnering with a growing client in the Phoenix area that is seeking an onsite, experienced Account Resolution Specialist. You will need a basic understanding of accounting, standard accounts receivables procedures, processing payments, and a positive attitude is essential! This is a 3-month contract with compensation up to $25/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collections - Contact members by phone, email, mail, and text to resolve delinquent loans and negative share accounts. Meet productivity goals while being respectful and assertive. Review member accounts to find solutions or decide on further collection actions. Keep detailed notes and use systems to locate collateral when needed.
- Insurance & Compliance - Understand collateral protection insurance and coverage rules. Stay calm in tough situations and follow all internal policies and debt collection laws (FDCPA, CFPB, TCPA). File skip claims with insurance and recommend charge-offs when necessary.
- Loan Support - Help members with new loans that are past due or missing insurance. Explain payment options and help them set up online payments.
- Vendor Management - Work with repossession companies to ensure proper licensing and insurance. Assign and follow up on repossessions to ensure timely recovery. Research and choose reliable vendors for out-of-area recoveries.
- Deceased Member Accounts - Support families or joint account holders when a member passes away. Review documents and help resolve any outstanding loans with care and professionalism.
- Other Duties - Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with employees and members, both verbally and in writing.
- Use critical thinking and independence to assess situations and solve problems effectively.
- Apply sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Manage time well, stay organized, and adapt quickly to handle multiple tasks while supporting members and staff.

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
