The Starbucks Assistant Manager is expected to lead by example. Supervising daily operations while providing the staff with the tools they need to succeed. Daily tasks involving safe audits, paper work, hand-crafting beverages, and utilizing Starbuck's evaluation tools. Upholding the highest of standards for guest service, sanitation, guest recovery opportunities and Starbucks standards. Assisting with front and back of the house stocking and inventory, ordering and scheduling when requested by management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises daily operations. Responsible for opening, stocking, and closing the store while delegating team members.
- Knowledge and implementation of sanitation standards, Keystone Management Department (KMD) standards, and Starbucks standards.
- Sanitation: operates and maintains food safety standards, adheres to all regulations, and is able to train staff to those expectations.
- KMD: maintains professional conduct, adheres to all administrative regulations, and follows deadlines and direction from management and corporate.
- Starbucks: completes all required training, able to administer training to staff. Adheres to all dress codes, standards, and administration of duties.
- Ability to train employees in all areas of outlet, able to perform in all roles, assist manager in developing and maintaining standards, ability to enforce company/ Starbucks/ KMD rules on employees and be proactive in disciplinary issues.
- High level of interpersonal skills: able to work with other departments productively, highest level of guest service, appropriate decision making, commitment to guest service and employee relations with performance reviews and progressive discipline.
- Understands financial responsibilities of outlet and operates to those standards.
- Assist with ordering, inventory, and scheduling as requested by GM.
- Other duties as assigned by management- (shoveling, patio cleaning, projects, open/closing cleaning, meetings, general computer work)
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor Degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years guest service, F&B experience with Starbucks experience preferred

One season supervisory Experience in similar environment.

Starbucks Barista certification. Advanced Store training preferred.

Prior POS (Point of Service) experience preferred. MircoSoft Office.

Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Must provide own certified slip resistant shoes prior to first day of work. Strong communication skills with excellent guest interaction.

Stratton and warren, and People Soft experence preferred.
